Life Force is the semi-sequel to Gradius, often being mistaken for actually
being Gradius 2 (a totally different game.) The graphics have improved
quite a bit, there's a new ripple laser weapon and features a two-player
simultaneous mode. Plus there's two perspective, the traditional side
and overhead views. In spite of these vast improvements, one problem remains:
Life Force is immensely difficult. There is simply just not enough power-ups
in the levels. For the pro gamer, however, Life Force is a blessing (and
also superior to its arcade original.)
